They didn't just change music. They changed culture. They changed how we wore our hair, the clothes we wore, the shoes we wore, the style of glasses we wore. And they still do today.

In case someone would object this is no gun-related item :
Their "double white album" does feature the song " Happiness is warm gun".

Aug. 16, 1966 my wife and I saw the Beatles in Philly. The PA was bad and they were bad but it was still quite a show. Great seats, tickets $5. I recently sold the stubs for $275. We'll be watching the History Channel show.

I saw them at a stadium in New Orleans in the 60's. That's all I did was see them. You couldn't hear them for all of the screaming. Did they change things? Yes, and not necessarily for the better.

Saw them in Chicago (their last concert I believe?)
I agree Charles.
The 60's started off like a beautiful young woman wearing just a bit too tight and short of a skirt. By the time it was over?
What a train wreck that decade had made of us by the time it ended.

Well, here ya go: YouTube - Happiness is a Warm Gun - John Lennon [Beatles]

Never liked Yoko Ono much. But they did have one helluva love affair.
