Somebody Loves Me...I Wonder Who?
You know, it would be interesting to know the "other side" of those that post here on this forum regularly?
The old Gutpile has another side.
Check it out.

Excellent! I have trouble playing the radio.
Has anyone ever told you that you look a bit like Joe Cocker?

That keyboard needs a gun rack mounted on it. You never know when a crazed fan will kick in the door.

I don't have an special talent like that Charlie. I flunked out of the grade school music classes, but I do like to surf fish, shoot, reload, and play the stock market.

Thats not what you said about him yesterday. Oh, you meant Gutpile Charlie from Green Country not Dog-Barf Charlie from your place.

Bravo, Charlie! And to think that my parents wasted their money giving me piano lessons. Impressive!

Her's some pics of the Hagstroms.I've had the viking in the middle about 33 years and it's been through the ringer. It was rough when I got it.Now it's just worn out, gonna need a new fretboard.
The other two are new reproduction Hags from (I hang my head)China. They play and sound great but don't have the same skinny neck profile like the vintage ones.More like the Gibsons.

One of life's hardest lessons for me to learn was a simple one that my mother constantly tried to imbed in my gray matter. Don't judge a book by it's cover... This is a prime example. I'd never have thunk it.
A bass guitar maybe, perhaps a harmonica, but I'd never have guessed a pianist. No wonder Maw worked so hard on that with me. Some people never learn. Great job, I enjoyed it. You really got yo' groove on.

I'm sorta' glad my parents aren't around to see that?
If they had, they'd instantly be forced to acknowledge what a no talent slug they had raised, compared to that!

I am impressed.. My Momma forced me to take Pieanner lessons and ball room dancing lessons. She tried her durndest to make me a gentleman but it never took..
I cain't play a radio let alone a musical instrument and I am just plain deadly on a dance floor.
I got to addmire folks with talent. I recognize it when I see it, but I sure ain't got any.

Charlie ... I hate to pop your tiny bubble (pun intended) but, Ed Sullivan is DEAD! But you have talent. Firearms and keyboards ... what's next?
