Default Family of calibers...

Here's mine, it's not too extensive. What's yours like?

Sir, you have either a good start or admirable restraint.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

It's restraint but unfortunate restraint. With the availability and price of ammunition I've been trying not to add any weapons that fire calibers I don't already have. That being said I added my first .380ACP a couple weeks ago LOL

After I saw Andy Griffith's list, I was too embarrassed to post mine! I see he must have realized that, since his post has been edited! It was actually very impressive Andy!

Thanks Misty.
I can't turn down a deal on set of dies for any reason.
I love odd ball calibers. I did leave out 6.5 Japanese by accident!
I've always thought about it like this when I see a set of dies that I don't have...
"I should buy those just in case I get a gun in that caliber, or have a friend that gets one in that caliber, or I come across brass in that caliber that I can clean up and sell, or just because we have the freedom to have dies in calibers they can't have in other parts of the world."

Something hit me and told me to err on the side of paranoia.

The only .32 I have is .32 ACP. I have avoided the .380 so far.
I have all the others plus .45 ACP, .41 Magnum, a good deal of 9mm, and a bit of .40 S&W.

Rifle calibers include .223, .30-06 and a little 6.5 X 55 Swedish.

In shotgun I have a little .410 and more 20, 16 and 12 birdshot, plus some slugs for the 16 and more slugs and buckshot for the 12. I took some of the 12 gauge slugs deer hunting this year in my Mossberg 590, but didn't get a chance to fire one. The 590 is my bad weather deer gun.

No 9mm?? I thought they were "required"

I like the looks of that .32H&R I do not have one of those, have to "research" one of those.

I don't have any guns or ammunition. I sold it all at a loss because the President doesn't think they're safe.

If you can shoot .32 H&R mag and .32 S&W Long, you can shoot .32 S&W (short) as well. Maybe some time when you need to shoot a mouse that doesn't have a lot of fight left in him !!!

Wink Variety & Diversity

Hand gun:

22 LR, .222 Rem, .223 Rem, 30 Herrett, 9 mm, 38 spl / 357 mag, 40 S&W, 44 mag

Rifle:

22 LR, .222 Rem, 223 Rem, 25-06, 280 Rem, 7mm mag, 308, 30-06, 30-06 AI, 303 Brit, 45-70

Other's die sets:

22-250, 243 Win, 270 Win, 7 mm Mauser, 30-30, 300 WSM, 300 Win mag, 35 Rem

I don't buy die sets and wait for the gun to show up. It's much cheaper to collect the fired brass, then buy the gun and brass. Had to buy a Para 40 S&W to use all that range brass.
