Whats your favorite firearm you own?

Picking a favorite firearm from my modest collection is tough because I enjoy them all.

If forced to choose it would probably be my 625-2...

For plunking with a handgun - Ruger MKIII Hunter
For rifle plunking - Mossberg M44us - very accurate

For home defense, Benelli Tacticale Nova (Ghost Ring sites) 12 ga

For carry? Why my S&W 640 of course!!!

My father's old Stevens 94F in 16 gauge.

I learned to shoot with it, and it is still just as reliable today as it was when he bought it new. :)

It's light, handy, American made, it isn't tactical, and it was Dad's...
What's not to love?

id love to get my grandpa's P-08 Luger he got from the war. that thing is great. its hard to beat a gun that has a family heritage tied to it.

For shooting, my Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail .45ACP. For carrying, my S&W 340 M&P and /or 442.

My absolute favorite handgun? A four-screw K-38 with 6" barrel. This is the "sweetest" firearm I own. Amazingly accurate, perfect SA trigger pull, superb DA trigger pull, looks great.

Second favorite, and more practical, is a 4 screw Combat Magnum with 4" barrel. Regular carry gun. Almost as accurate as the K-38.

Favorite rifle? Some version of a 6.5 Swedish Mauser.

Its all good

I have "safe queens" , some I plan to shoot, some I shoot often , Some that will stay "NIB" I have a 500 S&W mag 8 3/8 bbl unfired, 629-5 4" bbl unfired, 617-6 6 shot 6' bbl unfired, 60-6 snub unfired, 629-7 8 3/8 unfired, Colt Stainless Custom "enhasened" Gov Mdl in 45 acp unfired, Remington PSS 308 with a Leuopld 6 X 20 efr unfired but soon will be as soon as i get my brass and loads prepped. Custom Remington 40x in 22 its my match gun gets shoot often, Ruger Mark " slab-side" stainless gets shot often, Ruger semi-custom 10-22 with Leuopold 2x7 gets shoot often=a plinker, Mossburg 500 with I am building unfired, Colt 6600c match target AR-15 with lots mags unfired..........that most of them........My favorite is my 629-3

I have the most affection for my Remington 870 Magnum "Standard Deer Gun" (that's what it says on the box :) ) which I bought new in the late 80s. Much nicer than the 870 Express, which I suspect was designed to meet Wal-Mart's price demands. I own more valuable firearms then that old 870, but none can touch it for memories and practicality.

Favorite shotgun is a Husqvarna 310 side by side; sorry, no photo

Like most of you, I have a lot that I enjoy shooting or looking at. I have 2 favorites and they would be an old beat up Remington 22 rifle that my dad taught me to shoot with and an equally worn Ithaca 12 gauge double that had belonged to my great uncle who taught me all about hunting, fast cars, bars, etc. My dad bought it from my uncle and it was his last gun.
