They just delivered it!
I think I got a good deal...and I didn't trade the 8N!
2009 L3400...with accessories.
I'm excited!!!
Pics aren't too good, but I can't find my good camera!
Got a tiller and a box scraper too. The troy-bilt will be retired except for hilling taters.
No sweeper or vacuum though.
I have to turn up the seat so the cat won't get in it.
It'll be covered in cat tracks all over tomorrow!!! Oh well.

Couldn't afford it!
Plus, I'd beat it to shreds under the trees. Mrs. is ok with it...I'm not going to be able to garden like we have without some "help."
I wonder if the Mrs. will let me spring for something to tow it?
I won't press my luck.

Sweet little tractor. The loader attachment comes in real handy too.
What shape is the Ford 8N in? My son bought one last year, don't know why, just a toy.

For this city kid, who knows nothing about such toys, that is one bad *** looking tractor. I really like the color. But now I feel incomplete. All I have is a walk behind TORO lawn mower.

Congrats on the new toy. I have a friend down the road who has the exact same model. She loves it. It just got a big workout over the weekend with the snow.

I have a brother in law that just gave away a Ferguson tractor, it did need some tires, but I told him,,,you idiot, you could have sold it and made some money,,,oh and he had several implements for it also. on the other hand he gave it to a neighbor, so I guess he still has borrowing rights

No one is going to borrow this thing, unless it's pried from my cold, dead...
You know the rest.
Mrs. Griffith can drive this thing! I really didn't like her on the 8N...this will cut off when there is no pressure on the seat.

OMG! - Barbara is right: send a man to the store for milk and he brings a whole cow. This Spring I decided I needed a new mower, for small city lot; small lot needs a small push-mower, right?... not! This is what I came home with:

No sweeper? Just pick up the leaves with that bucket!
MickeyD, that's a lot of yard for an 8N. Tractors are like gun safes; always buy a little bigger than you think you need.

Way to go Andy, that's a nice looking tractor! I see it's traditional gear drive. How does it compare to your 8N?
7 years ago my brother-in-law let me use his 8N to finish my driveway and final grade my yard but I had to give it back. So I went tractor shopping and came back with a Kubota too. I really like it. It's the B series which is smaller than yours. I use it for mowing and the front loader gets used a good bit too. (Last week for clearing over a foot of snow off my 900' driveway.)

About 4 more payments left on this one. Grand L 5030. Welcome to the Kubota club. I have a BX2200 for the small tasks.

Nice tractor but my wife would make me sleep under it and then run me over.
I'm still wrenching on my old Ford 9N and they never seem to die nor do 8Ns..

As much as I wish I had a new fangled tractor with a loader on it, I have to do with what I've got... And old 1952 AC WD. Love the thing to pieces though. I've only used about 500 hours worth of time on her, myself:

I have a '55 IH Super A and love it, but do admit the new Kubotas are special! I guess it's like having a Break top revolver and looking at a Kimber Classic! Be safe with you new toy!
