Default Heart Atacks

I was sent this in a e-mail but I don't know any sick people so I'll just pass it on.

Why keep aspirin by your bedside?

About Heart Attacks

There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm.
One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently.
Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack. The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water..

Afterwards:
- phone 911 - say "Ambulance heart attack "
- say that you have taken 2 aspirins..
- take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and...
~ do NOT lie down ~

A Cardiologist has stated that, if each person, after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life can be saved!

I have already shared the information- - What about you?

Do forward this message; it may save lives!

Bayer has a new thing out. It's a quick release crystal powder that contains the equivalent of two or three aspirin and some caffiene. Made just for heart attacks. Even though I'm not there yet, I keep some packets handy at home, work and in my truck. A good thing to have around.

I had a heart attack in 1997, three months after retiring from the PD. I was working in the Clerks office for the Municipal Court and just felt ******. I had no pain anywhere but was sweating, nauseous, and a little dizzy. I went to the ER and was examined, and was told that my potassium level was low, so they gave me an IV. The cardiogram did not show anything, and I was sent home. or in my case, back to work. No problems after that, but I finally got a cardiologist and he wanted me to have a stress test and heart examination, so I did. While he was doing the heart cath, he showed me the screen and said that I had, at one time, a minor heart attack, and I told him when I thought it was. He said that sometimes during the attack, the cardiogram does not show it. I had one artery that was partially blocked and he did the angioplasty and ballooned the artery open. I have not had any problems since, nor have I ever had any chest pains or pain in my left arm. I do get a stress test every year now, and have had a couple more heart caths and so far so good.
I do carry nitro with me at all times, and my wife put aspirin tablets on my gun bench in the basement for me, just in case.

My Better Half is a nurse.
There is one thing that is stressed again and again at work.
Of someone is having chest pain,
DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!
More heart attacks happen on the john that you would want to imagine.
