Default Benjamin Franklin ?

I was over at my parents Christmas and found a Benjamin B.B. only that I'd forgotten about.I picked it up at a yard sale about 15yrs ago. It's a old one for sure but I don't know how old. Also the stock is smaller than the later ones from the late 60's.
The bolt handle is missing/broke off.The front sight/barrel attachment has become unsoldered and the seals are shot.
Suggestions,Links or any other help?
Another lousy pic from,
D.G.

Default Try this...

If I remember correctly, Benjamin airguns were sold to Sheridan Airguns quite a long time ago. I don't handle air or gas guns too much anymore, but I'd suggest looking up Sheridan on a search engine. It may not be much and it may be a dead end, but you might get some info.

LSK, I found it to be a pre '57 model 310.Also found a old air gun repair site that has kits for reseal and does other work.I'll try to make contact with them next week. It'll be neat to see if it's worth fixing.I sure hope so.My brother got his back from me years ago,Dang it!

DeathGrip, The following link has some good information that you might find helpful including a dealer that still services Benjamin Air Guns.

Benjamin Franklin Air Rifle

Benjamin Air Rifle Links
Serial number information from crossman.com
http://www.crosman.com/site/date_manufactured_benjamin

Benjamin Franklin repair parts, and rebuild kits

Bryan and Associates Crosman

Most Benjamin models require the Benjamin tool to open and close the valve, $12.95
Most Benjamin kits are $28.75. All kits contain valve and pump parts that should be replaced
to insure service and effect, plus, a parts drawing, sample oiler and step by step work sheet.
The correct model number id needed to supply the correct kit.
