does anyone here have any experience with these pistols?

their semis seem to get good reviews but i can't find much on the revolvers.

EAA doesn't make them, they only import them. The EAA autos are made by different vendors depending on which one you get. The better reviewed ones are made by Tanfoglio in Italy, but they also import autos made in Serbia/Frmr Yugoslavia.

The revolvers are made by Arminius in Germany. They have a zinc alloy frame, unless things have changed. The Magnum ones may have an all steel frame. I haven't owned one, from what I've heard customer service from EAA isn't always the best and QC on the German revolvers varies a bit. They are supposedly better made than the old RGs of course, but I wouldn't expect one to last as long as a steel (or even ord. grade alum. or exotic) framed gun.

So I took the new EAA 2" Nickel .357 Windicator to the range today & put 150 rounds through it. All I can say is very impressive little gun.
I used 100 .38 special and 50 .357. Very stable, easy to double tap, recoil is minimal, even using .357 loads.
Now realize, I paid $302 for this brand new, expecting a throw away gun for my truck...nope. This this shoot as well as my S&W .357 for 1/3 the price!

It's a little heavier than the Sigma I usually carry, but carries well concealed & comfortable, especially in a SmartCarry holster.
The only negative point I have is that on the nickle gun (I don't know if blued is the same) the iron sights are unpainted making it difficult to get target acquisition quickly. I easily remedied this by painting them with Bright Sights.
Target acquisition was quick & dead on.

If anyone is looking for an inexpensive (not cheap) .357 magnum with excellent performance, the EAA Windicator is it!

A German made 2" EAA .357 Magnum (EA/RB357) loaded with 6 rounds of Federal 38 Spl +P 158gr LSWCHP is sitting next to the keyboard as I type.

Offhand, I don't recall the name of the OEM, but the trademark is a large "W" flanked by a smaller "H" on the left and smaller a "M" on the right, all within a circle.

With the gun unloaded, a small magnet tells me:
The barrel shroud and trigger guard are non-ferrous.
The barrel, cylinder, trigger, hammer and frame are ferrous.
The over-mold grips are rubber.

The fit and finish is surprisingly good for a relatively inexpensive gun.
I haven't had it apart, so I don't know how well it is finished internally.

I estimate it weighs in the 2# range and is relatively docile with full power .357 loads, but not something you would want to do all day.

With .38 Spl and .38 Spl +P, it is far more pleasant to shoot.

For shooting, I prefer it over my S&W 637, but for carrying the 637 wins due to the much lighter weight.

The fixed sights seem to be regulated for a .38 Spl 158gr bullet, since 158gr .357Mags shoot a bit lower at 10yds, but that might just be me.

As previously mentioned, I keep it in next to my computer, so I trust its accuracy and reliability.

All in all, I like it and have no complaints.
