Ya just gotta love it!
Number 8 daughter will be 16 on the 14th and told me she wants a .22 rifle for her birthday. I told her to keep her birthday money and I'd put more with it and get her one.
One of her brothers said, "Most kids want a car when they turn 16. Your daughter wants a rifle. Go figure."
Cant get any better'n'at.

No, I'm not the Duggar guy.
Let me clarify. I have 10 total, 5 boys and 5 girls. She is the number 4 daughter, and number 8 child. They are boy 25, girl 24, boy 21, boy 20, girl 19, boy 18, girl 17, girl (almost) 16, girl 10, and boy 10.
The two oldest are birth children, and the other 8 are a sibling group that we adopted 7 years ago.

LOL! Thank you. It's been a tremendous challenge, but a tremendous blessing as well.

No donations needed, but prayers are always welcome.

It's pretty much a circus around here on a daily basis. Usually on Thursday nights the one who are married and/or moved out on their own come for Mom to cook supper for them. But on holidays when we get our bunch together with the rest of the families we get all three rings going at once.

Thank you!
Kinda explains my screen name doesn't it? My last name's Tyus and we're a pretty good sized "clan".

Seven drivers under 25 must get you a big calendar from Allstate. Wait, I see some have married so the rates are cheaper.
And I'm sure you would much rather hear, "could you pick up some ammo for Saturday, Dad" than "the car just barely had enough gas to get home, Dad".

Yeah, some of the older ones are out on their own. I only have one teenage driver in the house, the 18/yo son, and he pays his part of the insurance. The older girls haven't had a lot of interest in getting a driver's license yet.
You're right, I'd rather buy ammo than gas any day.
