Default Smith & Wessons in the movies

What are your favorites?

Clint Eastwood, Model 29 (almost too obvious)
Sgt. Tackleberry in Police Academy, Model 29

Danny Glover used a Model 19 in Lethal Weapon

Jodie Foster used a Model 13 in Silence of the Lambs

George C. Scott's Model 27 in Patton

Those are the ones that immediately to mind...

TV show, not movie. Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice during the era when his weapon was a S-W 645, not the junker Bren Ten. Haven't seen anyone handle one as good.. before or since...was a natural.

One of my favorite movies is The Shawshank Redemption. Remember the scene where the warden is about to be arrested? And instead of going to jail, he shoots himself with a model 10 snubbie?

Here...maybe this will help.

You can fast forward to the 3:13 mark if you wanna.

I always get a kick out of this old film... The President's Analyst with James Coburn.

S&W revolvers featured in other amusing scenes as well.
