Default Whatever happened to...

If, like me, you grew up on Western movies and TV Westerns, you've often wondered about the cowboy stars. When did they pass on, or are they still living? This nostalgic clip will answer those questions!

Those Old Westerns

Viewing this should give you a pang or two of regret that most of these stars are no longer with us.

John

Thanks for posting this; it was a litle bittersweet for me....it reminds me of all of the good guys and some of the bad guys in our Westerns genre...but it also made me think of my own mortality.

I think Tom Selleck and Sam Elliott should have done more westerns.

There is a monumet to Tom Mix just outside of Florence AZ, apparently on Oct 12th 1940 Tom was on his way to Florence from Tucson when he crashed into a wash (dry river bed to you easterners). The monument is of a riderless horse with his head hanging low.

They do or at least use to have his car at a auto museum at murdo south dakota. I think it was a white cord. Somewhere I have a post card of it.
