"Steve passed this morning. He was a great guy!
On the phone a few weeks ago he was laughing because he said "I'm gonna sing at my funeral"...
He told me that a few years back, while on vacation (up North I think) he'd taped himself singing Amazing Grace while he accompanied himself with his guitar.
I bet there won't be a dry eye at that service!

I didn't know Steve but I sure liked him.The forum is much less without him.
He has been an inspiration to me.

Sincerest condolensces to Charlene, family and friends of Steve. I have had him in my prayers, and now he looks over us, no longer suffering. I am glad that we all participated in the thread about the rifle he built (the one in the photo). He was very proud of that. May he rest in peace.

We all have friends we have never met, and it gives me pleasure to think Steve may have been one of mine. I like what I learned of his projects through this forum, I like what I learned of his family through this forum, I like what I learned of him through this forum.

He was a neat guy and we miss him already.
I am glad that his suffering is over and my prayer is that he's basking in the glory, and enjoying the fellowship of Jesus right now.
