I'll be hitting the road at 6:00 AM this morning and will see you all in 10 days. There won't be computer access where I'm going.

Got in late night from a week at Ft Myers Beach. We had one day in the 80's and the rest at least in the 70's. This was our 4th year there and the coolest. However, it was still better than Illinois. We got to eat a lot of seafood and hear some good 60's music at some of our favorite gathering places.

I got in around 5:30 yesterday after a two-day drive from Melbourne, FL. Wouldn't you know, it was college spring break on the boat. Rowdy bunch the first night and then they settled down until the last night.
The boat stopped at Coco Cay for a beach/barbeque. I saw a guy scooping things out of the water.
What was he scooping? Portugese Man-o-Wars.
There were a mama and baby manatee too:
All-in-all, it was great, though, and a nice change from the ordinary.
I did get what I originally went down for although we couldn't practice outside with live bullets because of the torrential rain. More later on that when I get a chance.
There was a lot of rain on the drive yesterday and a lot of accidents to avoid. The car did great and delivered us quickly and safely.
I'm glad to be back among you and it's also back to work this morning. Good - I could use the break!

Good to see you back, Barb. I read your post about being on the boat during spring break, and I thought, "wow, that would be awesome!" Then I realized that, even though I'm newly divorced, I'm 40 years old, and WAY too old for that sort of thing. Oh well, another bubble burst.

I got tangled up in one of those once. Not a pleasant experience. I thought it was fishing line, then I felt thousands of little "hooks". I'm glad someone was looking out for you!
