Evidence of Spring
There's a field of lupines with a few California poppies mixed in along a road I travel frequently. They were just too pretty not to stop and take a picture.
Nearby there was a ceanothus shrub with some yellow flowers in the background.

The flowers are beautiful but the pollen kills me. I try to survive gasping amidst the beauty.

We had some rain this winter so there was a good crop of poppies. The fields are yelow with them now. Unfortunately the spring also means wind: It'll blow all day and the skies are brown. Sometimes you can't see the end of the street. Old Mexico and New Mexico trading sand across El Paso.
