Default The power of a good dog

It is nothing short of amazing the affect that interaction with our family pet has had on these two young ladies. I would also say that my boy has had a positive influence as well.

A Golden Retriever raised our 3rd daughter. We remember the many school papers she wrote about her dog.

Thumbs up

Your children are sure cute.

And that's a very nice looking dog, too.

Enjoy your children while they are young: soon they will be teenagers!

I've tried to instill in my 3 grandchildren that if they are good
to my pets,"Three Dogs", they will be their friends forever. I know
this to be true. If you treat a pet well they will return unconditional
love back to you until they day they die. A lesson all people should
learn young and old.

Those are your two foster girls? They are dolls. My prayers are still with you and the kids. Quite the shoe the one is wearing, hope she's doing OK.

A dog can get people to cope real well, and open up about their feelings. Again, God bless you, your family, and those two adorable girls.

Great pic! A dog like that is almost as much of a treasure as the kids themselves.

9 year old F black lab here, I agree. We just spent about a gun's worth on her over some health issues, she came out fine.

Those girls will be sucking up the unquestioning love of a dog like a sponge. Cain't be nuthin' but good come from that. It is wonderful to see the kids and the dog in a happy setting.

Again, my hat's off to you and your family for what you are doing.

Darn cute kids there, and the dog too.
Something seems to be missing though. Hmmmm, what could it be?
Oh, yeah........You need a cat now!

Everybody needs at least one.

Parallel,

Amen, that times 3. (I have 3 wonderful dogs.) I've always believed that God made far too many people and not nearly enough animals, especially Dogs. That is God spelled backwards, you know. Wonder why?

Is your son is the one in the blue T-shirt or the one with the floppy black ears??? (Just kidding) -- great picture.

My boys love their English Setters (Dram, Shade, Radar), Newfoundland, (Beignet, "Ben" for short) and American Water Spaniel,
Ruger -- it really mkes for "family".

God bless you all. I sure hope the best is yet to come.

My Nana and Grandpa used to foster. It's a noble thing. I had lots of "Cousins". They wound up adopting my uncle. He's certainly my Moms brother and my favorite uncle.

Thanks for doing the right thing.

I'd hug that dog too.

He's not a dog! He's a regular kid you adopted who just happens to be trapped in a dog's body. Look at him (or is it her?). He fits right in there and knows he's a part of the family. Great looking kids, too.
