Anyone been or going? I was there yesterday for about 6hrs and it was not nearly enough time to talk to the makers and see their work. Awesome show.

I love the Blade Show. I haven't been in a few years, and was looking forward to driving down this morning. Unfortunately, I'm too sick to make the trip.

That's an understatement
A purveyor from Miami invited me. I had never been to Blade before. The craftsmanship is amazing.

I spent a weekend at the Blade Show back in the early '90's. Spent waaaay too much money on custom blades, but had a heckuva time. Lots of legends and legends-to-be there.

There are two "must go" shows for knife nuts living east of the Mississippi. Blade is always this time of year at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. The other is the Knifemakers's Guild in September at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville. Blade is custom makers and manufacturers and the Guild is custom only. If you're into knives you can learn more(and spend more) in a few days at these shows that any other place in the world.
I'm having to miss both this year and it's killing me.
