Default Thanks - Nice place to hang out - good company

I recently put a 'want to buy or trade for' ad in the classifieds to replace a set of grips that I didn't care for that came on a Ruger (yeah, I know, 'not a S&W'- surprised myself too ) Vaquero I traded into.

Two very nice guys offered to send me a set of grips for the gun and I promised Milt (semperfi71) that I'd post a pic or two when the grips got here. GKC then told me he dropped a set in the mail, as well, so I am doubly blessed. Neither gent would take a cent for their kind deed but it's nice to know folks like this and this forum is full of them. Since I've been here I have witnessed many acts of generosity and kindness and have more than once been the recipient of such. I'm glad when I can occasionally 'pass it on' and I'm proud to be associated with most of the fine folks here. This week it's the Marines and the Navy

So, here ya go, Milt - some yahoos might care for the black 'pearlite' grips with the Ruger medallions that came on the old thumb buster, but I think the pics speak for themselves . . .

So, if the black pearl grabs your fancy, drop me a note and I'll put 'em in your home . . .

.

Looks great Pard.

Remember what Patton said though, "Only a pimp would have BLACK pearl grips."

Okay, I changed it up a bit. Save those black pearls for the next BBQ.

Glad you liked 'em.

Regards.

Yeah gotta agree I was just simply asking awhile back if anyone knew where to get new sights (original equip.) for a 5903 and one of the members here sent me a set only thing he asked was I donate to the board which I gladly did. Not to mention lots of great info and help here.
