I have been looking for a 410S pistol for 2 yrs. All I have really come across are the used ones--- REALLY USED or the police specials for a large buck price. I was on Gunbroker the other night for the 1000 time and I came across a NEW 410S NIB. I checked out the difference in used to new at the latest gun show, and it was about $160.00 so I thought WHY NOT, I DESERVE IT, DON'T TELL THE WIFE. In Az used S&W guns are worth their weight in gold, really and finding one that has not been around the block 8 times is really hard, like the police special autos etc.
Called the seller and he said he had 2 left, consecutive numbers and would like to sell them both together. They have not been made in a few years and he can't get any more even from his friends at S&W. Well, away I went and after a little discussion we came to a deal for BOTH. I figure that I ended up spending about $ 274.00 more for 2 new ones than two used ones. One gets the hell shot out of it and the other ones goes into the safe unshot for about 10 yrs, that, I hope, PAYS FOR BOTH OF THEM. By the way, BOTH have the S&W FACTORY LAZER SIGHT HANDLES ON THEM ALSO. I did it and I AM NOT SORRY, AND I TOLD THE WIFE!!!!!!
