going to do 6 slabs of ribs on the 4th and they have turned out super the one other time i have done them.

do you other smokey mountain users TURN your ribs over or just smoke and leave on one side ?
and ....do you SWITCH the ribs from one grate to an other ( top and bottom grates in the smoker ) i do this but wonder if it really makes a difference.

Depends on the type of smoker really. I do flip my ribs just so the juices have a chance to work both ways instead of settling.

If your temp is consistent between top and bottom racks then no real need to change them, all you do is lose heat while messing with them.
