Is it possible to convert the square butt Pachmayr presentation grips to a rount butt frame, maybe by carving out some of the rubber in there or modifying them somehow? I would love to put a set of these on one of my mountain guns, and I would like to have that extra bit of meat that you can't get on the factory round but pachmayr presentation grips (they don't make a round-to-square conversion like Hogue does).

Square-butt Pachmayr grips go right on a round butt K/L frame. No modification required.
My open-backed Pro Grippers leave a small gap at the bottom, but I don't notice it when shooting.
