Thumbs down 1852 Club

I joined the 1852 club as a charter member and since then have purchased many many Smiths and always filling in the 1852 **** on the warranty card. I remember their credo as being a'member of the family", receiving E-mail updates on their new items and promotions, etc. Not once in all these years have I received an E-mail from them on any subject. And my ID has not changed. Has anybody else had similiar non-responses from our dear mentor?

I think the 1852 Club was disolved a while back. Seems like I read this about a year ago but can't remember if it was on this forum or elsewhere. I sent in a card years ago along with an owner registration card but never received anything either. Nice idea but short on execution.

Weird - Smith & Wesson seems to think that it's still an ongoing deal.
Here's a link to the page.

Upper right there's a link to Contact Us. Maybe they just forgot (?)

That page is just kinda hanging out there.

The last newsletter was in 2007.

I've got one of those cards! They're great for unlocking doors.
