The barrel reads Frank Wesson Worcester,Mass Pt Dec-15/65, Under the

With a front sight on both barrels I'm going to guess it's a twist barrel instead of a true Derringer type. I'll go look it up.

My books didn't have anything yet, one of which I just noticed is missing might. In the mean time there is some information online, a .32 model sold recently for $440 that looks a lot worse than yours.
Good luck, I'm sure someone around here will have the answers and I'll keep looking.

Frank Wesson Superposed Pistol. They were made in small, medium and large frame versions. .22, .32 and .41 rimfire respectively. Yours appears to be of the medium (.32 rim.) "third type" given the full length fluted barrels. Some were made with a small sliding knife blade between the barrels. Mfg. 1868 to 1880. Nice condition on yours with the exception of the overpolished brass frame. I don't believe many survived in that condition, last book price I have is $1500. in "good" condition. No prices stated above that.
