What the heck is this?
I'm still digging through some of my dad's things since he passed away a year ago and came accross this. Does anyone know what this is?

Is it fastened to the workbench, or could you turn it around and post a few shots from other angles? I'm intrigued by this thing and wonder if we could figure it out by getting a more comprehensive view of it.

Here's some more pics. The three rods go back and forth as you turn the handle. I had to bring it inside to take the pics because that Hooter's thing is on.

Ok the video thing didn't work out. The rocker on the top with the needle like rods facing each other rocks back and forth and the arm on the side with a needle like rod rocks back and forth between the tips of the other two rods. It has paddles that can be raised to hold something up and a piece that can be lowered to hold something down.

Rope or barbed wire twister? The action suggests it is for putting three different feeds together into a single output.

It's obviously an early roach exterminator. Insert the roach in the tri clevis, tighten it, and smack it with a 3 lb. hammer. The wheel allows adjustment for parallax. What do I win?

From the pics, it looks like a model 23 no dash heavy duty. It has a beautiful even patina, and I'm sure you'll be hard pressed to find another one like it. Extremely rare in that condition!

It looks like it is quality built, and built to be used A LOT. What did you father do for a living, or hobbies that might help get us in the right direction.

He was a carpenter like me and his biggest hobby was working on old cars. There's no telling where he aquired this piece or if he even knew what it is.

It almost looks like something to "set" the teeth on a handsaw, but I can't see where the saw blade would clamp into it.

The situation is getting pretty darn serious when nobody on THIS forum has a clue! It didn't take this long for somebody to figure out what that funny looking Avocado sticker/skinner/deseeder thingy was a couple of weeks ago.
