What is this tool?
Found in my toolbox manufactured by Red Devil...but...what is it? (some kind of wire splicer?)

Looks like a wire stripper (to strip insulation)

Does the other side look the same?? (openings the SAME size)
Yes - then it is probably used for compression crimping of terminals or slicers.
If not the same and has smaller clearance openings then the wire stripper guess would be good.

If it's more than 2 feet long, it's a Texas Nut Cracker. j/k..
I'd agree with loutent about it being a wire stripper.

Stranded cable crimper. For three different sized crimp ends. Make a loop in the cable, run the short end back through and wallah!

Yes, It is a Linemen's Crimping Tool as many have mentioned.

I hasve one just about ike it. It is in fact a crimping tool. They were used by telephone linemen. Mine is about 8 inches long and is stamped (bell systems) on one side.
