Default XDM 45ACP

Picked one up a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to shoot it.

It didn't disappoint me.

As with other XDM guns it is extremely accurate.

I believe that most quality guns are generally more accurate than anyone can shoot them. I've not seen too many people that can duplicate the results of a ransom rest.

I judge a guns accuracy by seeing how easy it is to shoot accurately. One inch at 25 yards doesn't mean squat. If I can't pick up a gun and shoot a decent group at 10-15 yards then I'm not happy with it. Doesn't neccessarily mean it's a bad gun. It's just not for me.

Having said all that, the XDM 45 is very easy to shoot accurately. I don't have to try very hard. I was even able to shoot a very respectable group at 10 yards with my left hand.

The XDM 45 uses the same magazines as the XD 45. The same is not true with the XDM 9 and 40.

My hands are a little bigger than average but even with the small grip insert the gun is still a little big but not bad at all. With a 13 round magazine how can I complain?

It's big gun though. And a little heavy with a full mag. With a 4.5 inch barrel and full mag, it might be too big for some to carry. But for me it will be a perfect home gun.

Accuracy. Capacity. Great caliber.

If you want one, buy it. I think you'll be happy.

I could not agree more, carry one every day,the more you shoot it the sweeter the trigger gets.
