Locksmith.
Stay fay away from China or Taiwan made padlocks. They don't hold up and sometimes duplicate keys can be hard to find.
Some American brand padlocks may be made or assembled in another country but the company makes sure that blanks and replacement parts are alway available.
I deal with this **** everyday. People buy these padlocks not realizing that nobody imports keyblanks for them. So we have to search our inventory of over 1000 keyblanks to find something close enough to work. It's counter productive as we may look for a blank for 10-15 minutes for a $2.50 sale.
We carry several major brands and over 60 different types of padlocks. Almost all of which can be keyed alike.
Some padlocks are rekeyable and some are not. Non rekeyable padlocks can be ordered keyed alike in great quantity. But I recommend buying rekeyable padlocks. If you lose a key or someone gets a hold of one, you can have the padlocks rekeyed instead of buying new. Also keyed alike sets are sometimes discountinued by the manufacturer or distributor. Some locksmiths keep the same keyed alike padlocks in stock and sell them to anybody and everybody. Buying rekeyable padlocks keyed to a random key would be better.
You might pay more but it will be worth it in the long term.
Another option might be combination locks.

If you're prepared to pay over $30 per lock, you can get any number of identically keyed padlocks.
We had locks on the gates at a campground we worked at. They had to be keyed alike so that the police, fire and rescue squads could get in. There were a lot of locks keyed alike in the area. Contact Yale or any other major lock manufacturer.
Alternatively, look at programmable digital locks.

some ACE hardware stores will key them alike for you, I just had them do a set of 8 for the company I work for. These were the Master lock heavy duty ones.

Find a good, local locksmith with a storefront shop. To get decent locks, keyed alike, you'll need to go to a pro and be prepared to pay more than the hardware/discount store 4-packs. Been there, done that...

Sir, not all keyed alike locks cost $30 or more. And in my professional opinion, Yale is junk.
Yale has been around for over 100 years. But they now have all of their products made overseas. You pay a lot but get little.
There are much better options.

You didn't offend me. Not at all. Just pointing out a simple fact. Nothing more nothing less.
There are no absolutes and they should not be quoted as such.

In Jackson TN a local hardware store will get you all the keyed alike Master locks you want. They also can get more locks at a later date with the same key number. So if they can any master lock dealer can.

The industial company I work for must buy 100 locks keyed alike every year for lock out / tag out during outages. Where do they all go??? I bet half the paddle locks in the county can be opened with key number xxxx!
I'm sure most local hardware stores can order larger numbers of keyed alike, or like some else mentioned, Ace Hardware has Master locks that can be matched to your key. I've gotten 8 personal locks for members of my crew that way.

An alternative may be the Master padlocks that let you set and change the combination with the use of a mechanical key. These have given years of trouble free use, even when exposed to rain and snow.

+1 on Master Locks. A good lock smith/shop should be able to get you all you want keyed alike for a reasonable price.

We sell padlocks by the hundreds every month. Mostly commercial use. We can key them to regular padlock keys, house keys and commercial building keys. Sell a lot of high security padlocks with high security keys too.

Over 20 years ago, i got a dozen keyed alike master locks. later I wanted more with the same key and was told $30 plus.
Master had to stop the production line to make them specail.......
Luckily, turned ot that I didn't need them.
I still have 10 of the original dozen still in working shape.

I bought a four set at Home Depot. Here in the PRK everything has to be locked up & my car has no trunk so my gun & ammo boxes all have the same key.

CHECK KEY NUMBERS ...
Last year I bought several FOUR Lock packages at LOWES.
Looked at the key number and bought multiple packages with the same key number. BINGO - many keyed alike. Master Lock was the brand I bought.
Each package of FOUR was $20.
Worth a try at your local store instead of Special Order.
Think Sprawl-Mart also sells multiple lock packages.

I used to purchase keyed-alike padlocks from Wilson Bohannan Company, WILSON BOHANNAN PADLOCK CO. They made a serviceable padlock at a good price. We paid less than $10 per padlock buying them in minimum quantities of a dozen, and that included monogramming the company’s name on the padlock.
Another type of lock, of a more “disposable” nature was the ring lock purchased from Engineering Unlimited, Sterling Security Systems - Padlocks, One-Seals, Disposable Locks These were used on utility transformers and vaults, and were less than $5 each.
Best padlocks were about $27 each, including removable core.
Different padlocks for different security and access needs.
Maybe one of these will work for you.

The problem with buying keyed alike padlocks at the hardware store is when they reorder, they reorder the same keyed alike number. And some stores have no control over which keyed alike numbers they get. So you never know.
Besides, patronize your local locksmith.
