Gun Inventory Page?
Too many guns and the pages of my old inventory book are on their way to the burn bag. Does anyone have any recommendations for an inventory page that I can copy and keep in a loose leaf binder? Looking for the usual stuff: Make, model, cal. bbl, paid/sold, etc., etc. Your assistance will be appreciated much!

Make one with an Excel spreadsheet. You get exactly what you want.

I keep a picture and information on Photo Bucket. It all stays on their server so if your computer crashes you don't lose it. Don

+1 for Excel.
Every gun I own or have ever owned is kept track of on excel. I list the make, model, caliber, serial number, date bought, date sold and the number of rounds put through it. The ones I currently own are in blue, the ones I no longer own are black. Every few months the file (along with all my other files) are transferred to an external drive and back up discs are made. I also keep track of ammo with excel.

Buy a good three ring binder and some notebook paper.
Just one feller's opinion, but I wouldn't keep that list on my computer.

You can always print out the most recent version and put it in a three ring binder.

All the replys are good so I'll just give you one more idea. Just Google templates, you'll get more invintory sheets than you will ever need just choose the one you like and print it out. Microsoft templates has about 2 dozen the last time I looked. Also has a bunch of other neat templates for lots of other stuff.

I agree with Andy G. I don't put any of that type info on the computer. Go ahead and call me a dinosaur, but I just don't trust that it will not be accessed by unauthorized people who just may feel that they are authorized. (if you catch my drift!)
I have two written copies. one stays with me, and the other is with someone who lives elsewhere. This is just in case of a fire or other catastrophe that may destroy the copy at one place or the other.

You could include a link to the picture in the excel file.

I made up a word document and used a printer to bind one up for me, with shipping it runs a little over 9 bucks but has room for like 344 firearms. It says C&R bound book on it but basically thats the sort of info that you are wanting to record.

I keep track of inventory on an Excel spreadsheet, you can add pictures which it embeds in the file. Whenever I add a gun an updated copy goes on a flash drive in case my computer bites the dust...

I use the ATF form.
Then scan it into the computer with a picture and receipt of every gun. Use a jump drive to copy the paper record and photo and keep in the safe with paper receipt.

I use Apples Benito made my own inventory page with picture. So Have the inventory on a detachable hard drive, back up disc updated as new guns come in, and printed to a note book for use should comp. stuff dies or is stolen.
