stupid green envelope...

almost got shredded with the junk mail.


Going through the mail that stacked up on my two week trip to Albuquerque, junk mail thrown on one pile and everything else on the other. Last piece was a green envelope, slightly larger than most, only letters for a return name. That pile was headed to the shredder but something told me to look inside.

Dang glad I did. The green envelope was my 03 FFL renewal Form 8. Came while I was away, so it looks like they are giving about a 10 week lead time before the expiration date.

I almost shredded an unexpected refund check that came in envelope that looked like it was from Ed McMahon ... or contained a ransom note.
