Default Not the usual Father/Daughter activity but

yesterday my daughter and I started a batch of apple wine. The worst part is waiting months to see if you did a good job. Best part is after waiting months you find out you DID do a good job.

Actually we may start another batch before cider season is over and mix some raisins and cinnamon.

In my family, we make it a habbit to ferment together. Weither it be cider, wine, or beer. I made my first batch of wine with my grandmother 12 years ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was too young to really drink our final product, but it was still a good time. At Christmas time, we (all of the cousins, uncles, aunts) bring a bottle of our best wine of the year to the table and compare notes.

Does the family that ferments together stay together?
