crotch rest shooting
I finally found a use for that stupid polar bear that I bought for my grand daughter that scared her.
I was looking for something to rest a pistol on so I could attempt to sight in a red dot sight.
The Bear was exactly the right height but I still never got that sight anywhere near zeroed.
My wife saw me doing this and thought for some reason that it was funny, or just strange.
A car went by and I saw a kid covering his mouth and pointing. I have since released the bear, unharmed, well, maybe a little powder burn rash.
Peace,
gordon

That's close to being priceless! Frame that pic, and leave a copy of this post with it for future generations to wonder at. TACC1

I think we have a case of hand gun harassment, although the bear doesn't seem to be objecting too much. Thanks for sharing this. Made me laugh.

The area that you see behind my paper plate target is a 750 acre tract of woods. Owned by myself and a friend. I only own the 5 acres closest to the target. To the right of the target, it is about 3 miles to the nearest dwelling. To the south, or the left of the target it has to be at least 5 miles to the nearest house. Behind me it is exactly two miles of hilly terrain to a small house where a hermit that I call Merlin lives. He's got a lot more weapons than I and shoots when he is able. I absolutely Love it here. No real backstop though, just oak and hickory and the like.
Peace,
gordon
