Long story short - ASA335 posted a thread titled "Match made in Heaven" about a Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline duet that was put together after they died and gave a YouTube link to it.
After listening to it I roamed around a bit and found some videos of Johnny Cash singing in German.
Heres the url - hope it works - I'm not YouTube proffecient
YouTube - Johnny Cash - Viel zu spät .avi
For you non-german speakers , the song is "I've Got Stripes"
Anyway, Sgt. Cash was a Russian Languist in USAFSS and while in USAFSS myself back in the 60's and 70's, I heard a bootleg recording of some songs he had sung in Russian, but it got quashed for "National Security" reasons and I was never latch onto a copy. (That cat was officially let out of the bag several years ago)
My question is, do they exist anywhere now and how do I go about getting a copy?
