Gun Show at Atlanta Farmers Market

Forest Park, GA. Anybody going? I have never been to one up there. I am headed out in a few minutes.

I'll be the portly gentleman in the clean Liberty Overalls, toting around the Colt New Frontier wrapped in an old sock, trying to trade for some kind of S&W and cash.;)

I'll trade you a beat up model 10 and a two dollar bill! :p

If I had a little extra cash I'd probably see you there. Let us know how the show is.

Not nearly as big a show as I expected. This same show in Columbus last year was much larger. Saw a Model-48, briefly considered trying to trade for it, but thought, "naaahhhhhh, too expensive for the ammo." I thinkI've seen that same gun at three different shows in the last two years, and I'm always tempted.

Drummed up just a little interest in the New Frontier. Had one offer that would cover my investment plus a tad, but I am thinking more and more like keeping it for a while and just shooting it instead of keeping the hammer tied. In the long run, it probably won't make much difference in what I can get for it. I really ain't too deep in it to just shoot it and keep it.

Everybody's looking for a beat up Model 10, including me.;)

I had the butt of my Model 60 sticking out of the bib pocket on my overalls. I could have sold it twenty times.

I might take the Colt to the show in Macon in three weeks. Then again I might not. I cain't hardly keep myself from ear-ing that hammer back just to hear that Colt click.

I think you should, Red. It's a nice, pleasant sound.
