Heart Tests
Tomorrow my bride of 41yrs marriage is having an echo cardiogram and a test of her Carotid artery. Had small stroke or TIA, last Sat, no damage, just a very slight slur in speech. Still has the love and care for others. Her only downer is Friday is her sister's funeral in Denver. The Dr. said she could not travel. Bummer for my bride. We don't see any real problems. May be cleaning of the artery. Later
Dave

Been a tough week for the wife. Her bout with her happening is milder than her sister's passing and sis's kids. That is another story, won't go there.

Prayers for the best results. Please let your wife know I am sorry for the loss of her sister. I have found that as the years pass I grow closer to my siblings than we ever were in our youth.

I understand your concern-I had a heart attack in 2006-killed me-EMTs brought me back-since then I have had three stents-of course my wife has really been put thru the course-but she's strong (and has cancer)-I detect that you are providing the strength your wife needs-and thats the purpose of marriage I guess-someone has to care for the old shooters and soldiers. Your wife is now a member of a pretty elite club--survivors.

DVD good luck on the wifes tests, dont know your age but you can be tested for a AORTIC Aneuresm with an ultrasound also, they give no symptoms and white males are prone to them. I was offered one in 07 and first said no I dont have one and thought about it and had the test and had one baseball sized and ready to pop, they sent me home, Dont do any thing, they put a stent in 3 days later so be aware. Had the same tests done years ago, believe me they are safe, pain free, and outpatient. So your lovely and charming should be home the same day.
Sorry to here about the passing in your family and I will keep all of you in my thoughts.

Back from the Dr. My wife (66), has blocked coraited arteries. one side is more so than the other. Waiting on the surgeon to call, should be in a day or so. Bride is feeling good and loving life. A little change in meds for now to prevent another until surgery. Coming up good as new. Thanks to all and the encouragement from ones that have experienced corrective procedures, to the better. Happy turkey day to all.G' day!
