I like this one because I was so lucky. There's a little delay in shooting a digital camera; I think I pressed the release just before the first shot and got the third going off. We loaded the Schnellfeuer with only three rounds as we didn't want to shoot out the range lights. You can see the three cases in the air. The Schnellfeuer is quite legal, incidentaly.

For me, it would be this one.
The weather conditions that day seemed to transfer over to the gun.

Here is my son shooting the K-32 that my wife bought me two years ago. We had a great time, you could never tell that he is legally blind. He can see OK out to 10 yards, beyond that is a guess.

Here is another picture with a comparsion of 32 S&W long next to a 327 federal. The K-32 is in the back.

This is one of the cleaner pictures I took of my 2206, with a touch of photobucket flair, and a Shoorod to boot!
Here is one of the cleanest photos I took of the 4566TSW I used to own.

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite. It's not a great gun. Not the best picture, either. But, it was her fifth birthday.

I think Alpo is the winner! How can you top a smile like that? I just hope mine is that happy when she gets hers in a few years.
This first one is of a gun I wanted for a lot of years and kept asking for it for X-mas. That never happen so when I quit smoking 23 years after I started I said, I'm going to take the money I was saving and just buy it myself. It my first "new" gun purchase and while the picture is simple I think it shows everything it needs to.
The next one isn't a perfect picture but it does have my best 1911 in my fanciest leather rig. Plus the holster maker has been using the image on his home page for the last few years.

That 1911 and its rig are dead sexy. There is just no other way to say it. I try to be a little more composed than that, but this time, I cant.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but this one is mine. The gun is a Model 17-3, Smith & Wesson. The reason the picture is special is because that's my wife, about six months after she suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and was at deaths door. This was her first trip back to the range after.
If you want one of just a gun, I think this is it.
It's just a Ruger 10/22 DSP from 1977. I think it's the best looking rifle I've ever seen.

My favorite gun pic of the ones I have is this one.......
and even though not a really good photo I like it because it combines several of the things I really enjoy.
The revolver is a 3rd model hand ejector .44 Special that had some personal touches applied to it, possibly some of the work at the factory. Barrel shortened,an unusual grip adapter that allowed a previous owner to put Colt SAA stock on it. A very nice action, a beautiful deep blue job, and an inscribed name. It was originally shipped to Oshman's for the Houston PD.
I recently mated it up with a fantastic tooled holster made by Sterling Leather in St. Joseph Missouri that must have been made for it.
Throw in a box of vintage ammo and a couple of artifacts of law and order and I like it a lot.

This is one of my most unusual revolvers. It is a 38/200 British shipped in 1940 and converted post-war to .22LR by Parker-Hale.

I kinda like this one.

Thom Braxton sicced me onto the Model 27.
Dave Keith built the BBQ rig.
Dave M. gave me those fancy grips.
The hat was my birthday present from my folks when I turned 21. That was a long time ago.
The belt buckle came off a worn out belt my Mom gave to my Dad as a birthday present back in the 40's.
The spurs belonged to my Dad. He bought them off an old cowhand for $75.00 back in the 40s. He about wore the gold plating off, and I'm workin' on finishing the job.
Lot of good memories in that picture.

Why? Because it's the latest picture and it is outdoors.

I can't top Alpo's pic with this one, but its one I took a while back of one of my setups. The 1911 is a Kimber Ultra Raptor II outfitted with VZ Grips and the holster rig was a custom designed hand made setup by my good friend Ray Cory with Lobo Gun Leather.

Top coat, Top hat,
And I don't worry cause my wallets fat.
Black shades, white gloves,
lookin' sharp, lookin' for love.
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
cause every girl is crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man.

Teagan Lynn O`Connor, my lovely Granddaughter. Loves to shoot and is getting better all of the time.
She won`t leave the range until all of the ammo is gone!
I almost didn`t get to have the opportunity to teach her to shoot,
But fortunately her mother had a change of heart and permitted it.
We are at the mercy of our daughters-in -law and this time I got lucky.

My favorite isn't a revolver that S&W collectors would get wowed about. BUT, its the most amazing S&W to ME.
Starting out as a late year (1980) 25-2 .45ACP target revolver, a long-deceased now Savannah gunsmith did what the factory wouldn't do back then . . . gave us a short-barreled, moon-clip .45ACP revolver!
The barrel has been chopped to 3 1/4" and the double AND single action trigger job is amazing to experience. No one TOLD the gun it wasn't still a target revolver . . . so it remains a real tackdriver!
I've won a lot of matches with this bad boy too. Fast from the holster, it comes to a quick and natural point, and is perfectly balanced for fast, double action shooting! Oh yeah, the super-wide target trigger has been radically narrowed, smoothed and the face rounded too, for fast, double action use.
It would be the very last gun I'd ever part with, and it is my main self-defense revolver . . . the first gun I'll ever grab if things go bump in the night!
Oh yeah . . . Elk stag magnas by Patrick Grashorn!

Re-thinking my picture.
My favorite gun pictures (and the gun doesn't matter) is with my family.
My son (now 14 years old and in High School) when I gave him his 1st rifle on his 7th birthday:
My wife....who shoots up all of my 5.56 ammo. She is right-handed but left eye dominant:

First photo is of my youngest son's buddy, Peter. He comes from a non gun (not anti gun) family and wanted to visit the range last summer. Soon after this was taken he took hunters safety and I am helping dad look for his first rifle as a Christmas present. I think that says it all....
Second photo was provided by my older son, he claims his goal is to find and marry the young woman....

This is my favorite pic of a gun by itself because the polish and finish is just so perfect. It's also my favorite carry gun.
These pics of my kids with guns are some of my all time favorite photos.
This is my oldest son in A-stan (he says I have to hide his face now, ID security has become a big issue), he's going back in January for his 3rd deployment.
These are of our younger boys from 8 years ago, the first time they'd ever gone shooting.
