This summer I read a book called "Heart and Blood: Living With Deer In America." It has to be one of the most informative and spiritual books concerning our connection with deer and discusses our successes and failures living with deer and the importance of hunting and specific scientific deer management. If you get the opportunity to get the book do so. I got it at the library; however, I got my own personal copy for my library as a reference and enjoyable reading.
