IF ELVIS STILL LIVED
If Elvis was living today, what Smith&Wessons do you think he would be collecting and shooting?

Which ever he wanted. He had a nice collection before he died and now he is making more money dead than he did while living without having to give most of it to Tom Parker.
I serious doubt Elvis would be happy with the cheap plastic pistols that many rave about just to justify them purchasing a cheap gun.
I also doubt Elvis would be buying plastic foreign cars either. He was like me in that we enjoyed the real things, not plastic imitations made to sell cheap to a public that will buy the cheapest they find rather than a real quality made product.
Please note the nicer custom guns are not made of plastic.

Mr. Old Man 45,
I have to agree with you. There's nothing like good quality steel frames and walnut for grips or trim.

I guess a tribute is in order...
Quick, someone take a photo of a gun he'd a had with a peanut butter, bacon, banana and mayo sandwich.
Just kidding! However, the thoughts of a BLT for lunch does sound quite nice. I think I'll have to listen to some Elvis now.

Elvis and our own "Doc44" would be buying up ALL the nice S&W's the way the Yankees and Red Sox are buying up all the talent in MLB.

he might have opted for a 460 and a 500 to go with a 29...
it would not necessarily be a large collection.
its the pile of defunct TV's tossed behind graceland that would be worth far more conversation.
>BLAM!! ZZZOT!!!< just what was he watching this time

If he were still alive today, I doubt he would be allowed near guns.

To those of us who are true fans, he's still alive.
He turns 76 on January 8th.
I think right now he's into K-22s.

I was a State Trooper back then and got to guard him once for some event. He outranked me ~, so did Dolly for that matter, but he had badges from all over making him every kind of police you could think of. At least that time, he had an engraved gold plated Colt Python close to him.

Elvis died when I was seven. I went to Graceland for the first time this summer and saw the "shooting range" - a small shed out back. There was a glass case with "bullets and casings." They looked like 38s, 9s and 22lr.
I would guess he would still be into 3rd Generation autos and L frames.
Sorry for the ****** pics. They won't let you use a flash.

Technically, if Elvis were alive today, he would not want any guns. He would want a shovel and be clawing and scratching the top of the coffin in an effort to get out of there.

I think that if Elvis were alive today he would be trying to get back that engraved, gold plated Walther PPK that he gave to Jack Lord. Wonder who has that Walther now.

an added fact about Elvis and his guns.
At the time of his death in 1977, Elvis owned only 37 guns, including rifles, shotguns and handguns.
Shootfire, my mother owned that many and she was poor as dirt.

Elvis dead? Sure, thats what 'they' want you to think. Elvis is alive and well, he works at the big truck stop in Wendover Nev. (I read it in "The weekly world news")

In 1976 Elvis appeared at the Bayfront Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I was a member of the SPPD security detail. On stage Elvis was no longer slim and trim, but the Girls (young and old)were still crazy about him. When Elvis began to throw out his scarfs at the end of the performance the Girls rushed the stage and went over the security detail like a tidal wave.
