Default I Bet I Have A Gun You Don't Have

Lets have a little fun. Everyone says they have a gun that is truly one of a kind. Given my observations on this board I know there are some tremendous collections. Therefore I propose that we introduce a little wagering to fine firearms. Post a picture of one of your own guns and make a wager that another member can't produce the same model. Don't get sly here, don't bet you have a gun with a specific serial number, you have to put your money on the line.

Therefore I hereby bet ten US dollars ($10.00) that no one on this board has an Armas Trejo Modelo 2. Prove me wrong and I'll drop you a ten spot in the mail.

So come on everybody, play along and stimulate the economy and spread the wealth around.

Armas Trejo Modelo 2 (Sadly not the one with the happy switch)

Here's its baby brother the Armas Trejo Modelo 1A

I've only seen pics of Trejos. Were they made in Argentina? I can't read the lettering on the slldes of these two.

Nope sorry no $10.00 for you. I had a chance to buy a transferable Modelo 1 a couple years ago for 9k and almost did it to complete the set. I have never seen or heard of a transferable Modelo 2.

Texas Star,

The Trejos were made in Mexico until Mexico cracked down on firearms in the early 70s. There were basically three models, Modelo 1 select fire in 22lr, the Modelo 1A semi in 22lr, the Modelo 2 in select or semi in 22lr, and the Modelo 3 semi in 380. The writing on the side reads "Trejo Pistola Cal 22 LR Zacatlan, PUB Modelo 2 Especial".

Interesting thread, but it might be a good idea to check with the boss before doing any wagering on his board.

Well, this seems like a giveaway, but what the heck - it's only money. $10 to anyone (other than Sean and L. Richard) who has an H&R USRA pistol with adjustable sight radius and can confirm it with a photo. I realize that Reggie (whoever he is) might be hiding in the woodwork, but it's worth $10 to see his.

Nice gun! Your father obviously held it firmly - didn't seem to rise at all.

Less than 100 were produced and transferred to the German army in 1914. DWM with stock lug "Commercial Military Luger".P69 70 Jan Stills "Axis pistol"book. The serial #is listed there. Notice, the barrel has more of a shine than the rest of the gun and no date either.

Well this should be an easy one, but I sure didn't know what it was till I looked it up. H&R didn't make many of these as the 1903 pushed it out the market.
[IMG][/IMG]

Secondly this is the real deal. I will bet that NO ONE has one of these. Its a M1941 Johnson. It was a 30.06 rotary magazine fed predecessor to the Garand. It was also build in a LMG format. My example is the rare edition that Johnson made in the 50ies with a 5 round box magazine and flat top for scope as a sported edition for hunters.

Marshmello Gun With Ammo. We use it to play with the dog.

Default Customs count?

Howdy,
If customs count here is a Marlin lever gun in 22lr with a Ruger 10-22 heavy barrel screwed on to it.

Where is Burp? He is the king of odd and must have something for this thread.
Thanks
Mike

I don't have any strange or odd firearms of any sort, so I will donate $10.00 to the forum if anyone can beat the .50 caliber pin fire. If the owner of this monster will fire it, I will donate $20.00 to the forum or the charity of Hand-ejectors choice.

Now that's just funny, "smallest REAL Derringer," as Henry Deringer
didn't spell his name that way.

No money but can anyone else post a Browning Double Automatic Twelvette? There's gotta be at least one, it's not that uncommon.

Old bear, here are a couple more pictures to that gun and another. Here`s the story. 40 years ago when I worked at lockheed there was a older man that became my mentor as a collector. Ura "Duke" Duvall. If he were still alive he would be in his 90s. He was a big time collector. His home was about a 100 miles from the plant. He used to travel on secret projects for the company around the world, but now was stationed where I worked. We got talking guns and he gave me that pistol to soften me up and rent him a room. He would work tons of OT, and go home about every two weekends, get a new satchel of guns to show me when he would return. That gun probley was made in belgum or spain. Duke thought it might had been used as a "boarding pistol" by a pirate as you can see two holes for probley a clip to wear the gun in a sash or belt.
The colt single action was also his and once featured on a "Guns" magazine cover. The clyinder was sawed in two with the back half being converted to .22 lr. A 22 sleeve is in the barrel set back to look like .45 in front and extends through the front part of the clyinder. Dukes brother in law, "al capone " that owned Kings Gun Works in LA converted the gun. Duke used to also work there part time polishing guns for refinish etc.

feralmerril, sir you have to be the winner with that monster and the great story that goes along with it. So do I send the forum $10.00 or $20.00? Your word is all I need.

i'll play. Here is a Colt Super Match. It was owned by a Seattle police officer who moved to town in '31. He used it for bullseye and unfortunately converted it (and the original magazines) to .38 wadcutter.

Here's one I betcha no one has. This was given to me by an old gentlemen who lived across the street, shortly before he died a few years ago. He was a WWII vet. He said he had no use for it. Unfortunately, neither do I... but it IS interesting.

$10.00 is okay if its ok with lee! A year ago in a old western shop over at panguitch utah about 65 miles from me, I seen another that was very very close to mine for sale. I am almost sure it had to have been handmade by the same gunsmith! The only stamping on mine is #13 or something similar. I also forgot to say that duke also gave me a similar one in some kind of .32 caliber. That one was very small, didnt have the folding triggers, but regular triggers with the trigger guard and was also double barrel but nickle and probley made latter. I gave that one to a friend many years ago.

rodcraft, that pistol was made to chamber .22 rimfire blanks and also "tear gas" rounds. I remember firing a whole "magazine" of the tear gas rounds in our living room. Was kind of stinky but that's about all. As a kid I owned two or three of them.

Rodcraft,

The Rohm pistol I own was made to fire 6mm blanks. The blanks are inserted in a magazine (actually a rack) that slides in just under the "muzzle." The gun fires each of the blanks in turn so that the gases go up into the barrel and are blown out of the muzzle. If you google "Rohm RG3" on the internet, you'll find some videos of folks loading and firing one. I think there were a number of variations. The lever in front of the trigger guard on mine lifts to release the magazine forward.

I am prety sure that none of you have this special pocket pistol.

It is the only Pistol with an consuming expiring date.

The complete pistol is made of chocolate.

An friend gave it to me. He made it from an old chocolate mould from 1930.
It is an model of a FN pistol. The details are quit good.

It is great fun. I gonna eat it now.

Ok,
Heres one that no one has a Rossi Garrucha, side by side .22 derringer.

This thing has been in the family as long as I can remember. Its ugly as sin and has been a running joke between my Dad and I for the last 20 years.

The funny thing about it is if you load 2 rounds and fire the back trigger one barrel goes off, the fire the front trigger the other goes off, BUT if you fire the front trigger first, it fires both barrels at once? It will startle the hell out of you if you don't know its going to happen!

willykluda: we have a winner!!!

Now all I gotta do is find the address to ship funds to the Head Gorilla here.

Do you have other data on yours?
The most I've learned on this model, is the 68 gun law stopped import of this model, and there aren't many of them on hand by any cliche of shooters I know. Yours is #3 that I've spotted in about 10 years I've been aware of them.
