Default .22 LR Standard Velocity in bulk

I have an older pistol that I just want to shoot low velocity .22LR rounds in but I can only find it in 50 or 100 round packs. The bulk packs 300 - 500 rounds in are all high velocity. I've checked at Cabela's and various LGSs. Are the low velocity rounds sold in bulk?

Check out Midway. They have quite a selection. I use a lot of CCI standard velocity and Aguila match. You can buy 500 or 5,000.

I buy ammo that I can not reload from Ammunition to Go.

The Fiocchi 22 lr 40gr LSP is very good standard velocity ammo.(22CRN) It's made in Mexico and smells like primer cord.

They have other sub sonic ammo if you want that.

Ammunition To Go : 500rds - 22LR Fiocchi 40gr. Lead Solid Point Ammo [22CRN] - $22.95

I don't know that I would consider a brick or case of CCI Standard as a "bulk pack". I think of bulk as that ammo that comes loose in a bag, tin box, etc. (Not packed neatly.) and is usually cheaper than boxed ammo.
A number of years ago I bought a case of PMC Scoremaster that smells weird when shot. Probably Mexican. (I don't think they make it anymore) It worked great in a Free Pistol I was shooting at the time and have since sold.
Unfortunately my Bullseye gun doesn't like it, so I probably have a lifetime supply left.......

I've been shooting Winchester DynaPoint 22lr ammo in most everything that needs standard vel ammo only.
I get it at a local Dicks Sporting Goods store in 500rd bulk packs. The last time was this past fall for $18.00 a pak IIRC.

Sometimes they have it,,sometimes not. I just watch for the sales anyway.

It has a tiny HP nose for some reason but not enough to make any difference in feeding.
Very accurate from what I've found.
Works in a couple of my semi auto pistols,,does not operate the actions in others. To be expected I guess for their standard vel status.
I burn most of it in a Marlin 97 lever action rifle.

I just use it for plinking and casual target shooting.

Dynapoints have a MV of 1150fps which is the high end of standard velocity. (CCI SV is 1070, so there's not too much difference.) The deciding factor would be how it works in the gun you are using it in.......

Thanks for the answers...I haven't ordered on-line before but I'm going with the CCI which I'm used to. I've been paying $7.99 per 100 so that is quite a savings. Got another grandson coming next week, and boy, can they go through the ammo.
