Default Smith and Wesson wax paper

Does anyone know where wax paper can be bought? I don't see it at the online store.

Call S&W customer service, it's been about a year since I bought some but I just called up and ordered it. IIRC it was like .45 cents a sheet.

And as a last resort, there is a standing auction on GB for one sheet of paper at $2.95, incl shipping, or something like that.

I have bought it numerous times from S&W, since I wrap all guns I ship in it.
As advised, simply call customer service. They'll sell you all you want. My last order was 400 sheets.

In the past, I've just called S&W customer service. They sent me 20 or so sheets of the vapor impregnated paper (not wax - no longer made) for free.

Smile Anti-Rust Paper

Hey GSXUNV04...the purpose of the paper is to prevent rust...it is a treated paper (VCI chemical I believe) that inhibits rust. S&W ships their guns in it (or they used to anyway). I wrap ALL my guns in this paper, even long guns if they are going to be stored for a long time...hope this helps...

VCI= Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor.
The paper actually emits vapors that inhibit corrosion.

There's a seller on Gunbroker named, WIDEBUFFALO who usually has some for sale. Don't remember what he charges, but would probably work in a pinch.

I'm wondering if Brownell's sells a generic form of the paper.

I just checked. Click on the shortcut below:

Default Treated gun wrap

I bought a roll 36" wide, long enough to wrap a semi trailer for about $60 from Amazon. Just cut off what you need and keep rest enclosed in plastic bag (provided) until ready for use. You can also buy a "mega case" of 9x9 sheets for about $40. Just search "VCI paper" on Amazon or Google it. Can also use it in your ammo storage. S#*T you could also wrap your ole "65" Mustang in it. Caution, unless she's a robot, wrapping your ole lady in it will not stop the aging.
