C&R wait time?
After almost 10 years of collecting, I decided to go for my C&R 03 license......if anything, just for the ammo discounts and may put some old S&W M&P's on it, along with a few CZ82's and Nagant revolvers......
Just wondering what other people's recent wait time has been for a first time C&R.....

I received mine around 6-8 weeks after sending the app in. I do not remember the exact time.

I think mine was just over a month almost 2 years ago. for the guns you mention it's really nice to have one. for 1-200 dollar guns, that transfer fee and the hassles that come with it are a real pain that can be avoided with the license. well worth the wait, however long it takes in the age of obama.

My original took right at 30 days from mailing to receipt. My renewal, last December, took a little over two weeks.

My renewal in Dec. took about 10 weeks. When I called to check on it in Mid Nov. (Expired 12/1) I was told they had just finished processing the Nov. 1st renewal's. (2 weeks after they expired). I think the department has been downsized.

Every time I renew mine it has taken 2 to 3 months.
The last time I received the renewal 5 weeks after the old one expired.

Thanks for the replies
I guess I'll just wait and hope for the best, wish I had done it sooner but was debating my "need" for one, since I already have most of what I want, but figured it would be good for the occasional "impulse" buy. I can see myself getting lazy once I get it, and just ordering a C&R pistol whenever I feel the urge to buy something
