Can members please post the abbreviations and acronyms they use and what they stand for? Some ,I have no idea what they stand for.Thanks.

Easiest way is just use your search engine like Google. Most are common throughout internet like IMHO (IN MY HONEST OPINION)

AFAIK, I don't use acronyms or abbreviations. IIRC, folks who do are PNG around here.

Being ex-defense worker, we had acronyms for everything. At home, I use only one - for my backhoe - it's a BDT. (burglar disposal tool)

I'm retired military. Supposedly , abreviations/acronyms were to make things simpler. And that is still true to a extent. I truly believe however a lot of their use is simply so those who know what they mean can feel superiour to those who don't.
