Default 4-H National Shooting Sports in San Antonio, Texas

This little 17 year old gal was up bear hunting where I was last September. I met her Grandparents a couple years ago up there and last September she drew a black bear tag for the first time. She was very excited to have the opportunity to hunt bears for the first time and was a real trooper throughout the entire season, and even though she saw a couple bears never had a decent shot and rather than risk making a bad shot, she passed them up. She is very bright and articulate and will make a good role model for the shooting sports. I receieved this email from her and thought maybe some here might be interested. Thank you.

"Hello~ For the first time in National 4-H .22 Shooting Sports the team is from one county......Moffat County, CO! (All 4 team members) I'm proud to be apart of this! I will be traveling to San Antonio, Tx. in June to the Nationals. I will be one of a team of 4 representing Colorado in .22 shooting. But I am in need of sponsors & donors to help with travel expenses. I will be spending 6 nights in a hotel, fuel money to drive to Texas, & my meals. This is quite a big expense. I would greatly appreciate any donations or sponsors.
Could you please pass this to any one who would be willing to help."

Thank you for you time,
Miranda Blomquist

A great bunch of kids here folks, and I'm sure we will all benefit in some way from their efforts.
