Default Looking for a pistol cleaing rod that has a patch slot and brush?

I once had a looped end short pistol cleaning rod. It was plastic and had a slot for a patch and also had female threads to put a bore brush on. It was real handy to use at the range or for a quick cleaning. It broke and I am unable to find another.

I checked Brownells and Midway but no luck. I do not know if it came with a firearm or where I got it, but it was real handy.

Anyone know of such a item??

Thanks

Default It depends on the caliber, but....

Check around military surplus stores. The old steel .45 caliber cleaning rods were like you describe. I carry one with my field gear and clean a 9mm/.357/.38 with it.

Try finding a Glock cleaning rod. Plastic, with patch slot and threaded for a bore brush.

I have a brass pistol rod, slotted and threaded on the end for a brush. Believe the origin to be British, WW2.
