Question Stuck trying to make a decision!

Swung by my local pawn shop and saw two possible new acquisitions. One is a Colt Lawman mk iii .357 mag 4" bbl. In 95% condition. ($399) The other is a Colt mustang Government model .380. 95% condition. ($499) I'm stuck trying to decide which one. Anyone know which one will hold value better and will be more collectible in the long run?

Get the Lawman - it will easily sell for way more than that. So would the Mustang but the price is better on the Lawman.

Now the thing is that I have a stainless 686-3 on layaway and thinking of switching the credit I have so far for the lawman. How about that?

I would stay with the 686 if it were me. The Lawman was the bottom of the line in that era of the cintered metal (not forged) guns. Just my opinion and worth what it cost you. ;-)

Definitely the 686. Much better quality firearm than the Lawman.

Stay with the 686. I had a Lawman Mk III and I had problems with it. I traded it for another gun. I have a 686 and I have never had a problem with it.

The thread topic had me askeerd, so I thought I would get in before the "lock" and state, "Man, you just have to vote conservative," but I see it's really gun related (whew!), so I'm coming down solidly on the 686-side of this particular "debate."

I love the horse almost as much as I love the ampersand...but given your choices, I would stick with the 686. You won't be sorry. :-)
