Wow...

I have been waiting since October of last year for my rebate magazines and I still don't have them! I have called Customer Service several times, and there is always a reason for the delay (equipment problems, supply issues, etc.)

Did you have a problem with an existing magazine, and they are sending you a replacement, or did you just ask for an additional magazine?

I hope I don't have to wait that long for the two magazines I ordered last week for the SD9.

Last night I found a e-mail address for one of the senior officers of S&W on their corporate website, and I sent an e-mail outlining my issue. I wasn't really expecting a direct response, but maybe eventually I'd hear from someone. Well, today I got an e-mail from the officer, apologizing for my experience and saying that my magazines had been shipped today!

It's too bad it wasn't handled sooner, but I am impressed that the officer took the time to check personally and respond personally.

I received the rebate magazines today (they were sent via FedEx overnight) and they included two extra magazines! So it all turned out well.

I received my two magazines today, then I went to check the balance on the credit card I used when ordering and noticed that S&W cleared the charge. So I got two magazines for free, I was like wow, with customer service like that I will definitely be willing to pay a little more for another Smith in the future.

It's probably just an error, and they'll charge you double to make up for it!

Well scratch my last on the free magazines, checked my balance this morning and the charge was back. Threw me there, they submitted the charge, and reflected in the balance. Then it wasn't there, now it's back. Oh well, should've known you don't get something for nothing.
