A few weeks ago, I was looking for a IWB holster for my S&W 642. I received a personal email from someone who had a new holster (that the person did not use) and the person would send it to me for free if I wanted it. I gave the person my name and adddress. What do you know - I received the holster and a speedloader a couple of weeks later, but I did not keep the person's email address and I can't thank the person personally. There was no return name or address on the package. I do feel guilty that I can't thank the person personally but I feel moved to thank the person for their actions in this way. Today, I gave some thing away to another person and they do not know where it came from. Let us all take an example of this person who did something because they wanted to - not for a reward.

I have had that to happen a couple of times on this forum. I have made a few trades and got the big end of the deal, meaning I got a lot more than what I traded was worth in my opinion. Believe it or not, there are still a lot of good and decent people in the world, and most are on this forum I sometimes think.
You did the right thing by giving someone else a freebie.
