FOP Range in Pleasant Grove, AL open!
The streets are open in P.G. - some slow downs as you get near the range - unreal tornado damage. The FOP Range in Pleasant Grove, Alabama opened up Monday - at least member ranges 1 & 2 - and the Public Range and office. I met a couple of the Tuesday crowd today out there - some public users came, too. Several of our usual suspects are still without phones - it was miserable out there - a real disaster. Good to get back to plinking! What your step - still roofing remnants, etc, everywhere.

My wife and I were trying to get to her father's house in PG the night of the tornado. We live on one side of the damaged area and he lives on the other, about two miles away. She managed to step on a nail about half way there. Went and got a tetnus shot the next day and almost could not get back into town. Still no phone or internet service. I'm at my FIL's now and he has ATT internet but still no phone service. Not sure how that works, but I'm glad it does!
I wanted to get over to the range today but got tied up with other projects. Maybe tomorrow.

Made it out to the range today. The damage seems to be mostly from downed trees. Lee managed to get his right hand tangled up with a chain saw in the process of clearing the wreckage. Anyway, I got some trigger time in for the first time in several weeks. Good to smell burning gunpowder again.

Glad to know. I used to be a member out that way. I wondered how Grigsby and Co. fared the storm.
