Default Bison thighbone grips

In the most recent issue of Handloader, Mike Venturino has an article that shows a pic of a Colt SAA with grips made from Bison thighbones. Does anyone know who might work with that material or maybe even how to contact Venturino since I could not find an email. I think a set of these on a Vaquero would look great.

I can't give his home address, but he writes for, Handguns.

He has a story in the current issue on the .45AR. Drop him a line there.

They look very similar to the antler grips that Patrick Grashorn makes. He might be good to check with, I'm sure he has access to bison bone in Colorado. On the other hand I'd wager Mike Venturino is a forum member, but may not want to be identified. http://mlventerprises.com/ mailto:[email protected] (he asks for no chit-chat)

Bison bone.... hmmmm... I might have a few of those... anyone know if I can contribute this as stock for a few grips? I may have a source for them as well, as one of my camping buddies has a small herd he raises for meat for the Comanche tribe and others. The last one my group harvested was shot with a reproduction 60 cal matchlock.
