THANK YOU ! VETS
I have been a cop for over 30 years ,BUT I have never been in the service, I know it is a way different type service ,and sacrifice.
Dad was 20+ Navy ,1941-1961,Brother served during Vietnam war,but was lucky,never sent to nam.
So just want to say thanks to all of you who have and still are sacrificing ,so that our country and guys like me can have a wonderful life. THANK YOU !!!!! Bob

Strictly speaking, those of us who are genuine veterans and still walking this earth should be thanked on November 11, Memorial Day should be when those who "didn't live to comb gray hair" As George W. Bush put it
should be remembered.

The contents of his post does not mention Memorial Day,
you must have misread what he was saying, and Nov 11, absolutely correct. And I do have gray hair.

Well i want to thanks our Vets past and present. I would also like it if people remember the military families, who maybe suffer more, because their pain never subsides until their last waking breath.
There are lot's of Mom's and Dad's who lost their beloved children, their lives sacrificed for us. The kid's without a Mom or Dad, husband's or wives without a spouse.
Then there are the families who nurse their most cherished posessions in the world who's body or minds are mangled from the horror's of war.
God Bless our Vet's and their families.
