BOOK AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE FORUM-Auction Has Ended.
With Lee's permission I am offering the hardbound book "125 Years With Smith & Wesson" written by Roy Jinks to be auctioned here with all proceeds going to support this forum. The book was published in 1977 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of of Smith & Wesson and was included with the 125th Anniversary Model 25 that was issued by S&W. It is a wonderful reference book for anyone with an interest in S&W's and includes text, photos, drawings and charts not available anywhere else and is indispensable to collectors. The book is hard to find today and quite pricey from what I see on the internet.
The book for auction is brand new with no tears, stains etc. and the only small issue I see is are what appear to be some pencil or pen marks on the edge of the pages, photos posted to show these marks.
As an added bonus I have been in contact with Roy Jinks and he would be glad to sign the book for the winning bidder.
The auction will end Moday, June 6 at 10pm Central time and I ask that the winner send payment directly to Lee, when I receive confirmation I will take the book to Orlando to the SWCA meeting to have it signed By Roy and will mail it to the winner when I return home.
Be generous with your bids as they will help to support the greatest gun forum on the web and you will receive a very nice hard to find signed book for your support.
